At Lisheen N.S. we have three large classrooms and a general purpose room.  There are two Support  Rooms.  Each classroom benefits from an interactive whiteboard. These are used extensively to enhance the curriculum. The classrooms also have computers, a library area and a nature table. Lisheen N.S. has three mainstream class teachers, two  Support teachers, a Special Needs Assistant and a school secretary. Outside there are three tarmacked playing areas as well as a basketball court. Lisheen National School is a fully vertical, co-educational school i.e. both girls and boys may enrol and can attend from Junior Infants to Sixth Class. The school aims to provide the best possible education for each child in a safe, secure, happy environment. We strive to develop every aspect of the child, including their social, emotional, spiritual and educational development.  There are seventy pupils at present. The curriculum of the school consists of Irish, English, Mathematics, History, Geography, Science, Music, Art, Drama, Physical Education, S.P.H.E and Religion.
